Alloys

Alloys generally have higher hardness, better corrosion resistance, and lower melting points than pure metals. Common alloys include steel (mainly composed of iron and carbon), brass (copper-zinc alloy), bronze (copper-tin alloy), and aluminum alloys (alloys of aluminum and other metals). Due to their excellent mechanical and processing properties, alloys are widely used in construction, transportation, electronics, and machinery.
